No results should be expected from Surkov-Volker meeting, it will be just "comparing of notes" - Peskov

MOSCOW. Jan 26 (Interfax) - The Kremlin believes that no results should be expected from an upcoming meeting between Russian presidential aide Vladislav Surkov and U.S. Special Representative for Ukraine Negotiations Kurt Volker since the parties will just "compare notes" on current issues at it, Russian presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov said.

"One hardly should or can expect this meeting to produce any results. It will be a "comparing of notes", a working process," he told reporters when asked what the Kremlin was expecting from this meeting.

Surkov and Volker are expected to meet in Dubai on Friday.
