Israel ready to foil Iran's, terrorists' attempts to destroy it - Netanyahu

MOSCOW. Jan 29 (Interfax) - Israel stands ready to tackle the threat posed by Iran and terrorist groups, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said on Monday.

"We are still ready to untiringly prevent any attempts of such ideologies and primarily that of Iran, which openly says it wants to destroy us. No one will succeed in doing so," Netanyahu said at an event marking International Holocaust Remembrance Day and the anniversary of Leningrad's complete liberation from the Nazi siege.

"Neither terrorist regimes nor the ones sent by them will manage to achieve this," the Israeli prime minister said.

These regimes threaten the entire world, Netanyahu added.

"We will stand up to them with all our might in order to ensure the eternity of Israel. We will stand up against them to ensure the future of humankind. At this important tolerance museum, I want to tell you one thing 100%. There won't be another Holocaust," Netanyahu said.
