MOSCOW. Jan 30 (Interfax-AVN) - Russia delivered 1,608,000 tonnes of supplies for its military group in Syria during the campaign, Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu said, according to the ministry's website.
"Three hundred forty-two deliveries were made to Syria by sea, and 2,278 by air. In all, over 4,000 units of weapon and equipment, 1,608,000 tonnes of cargo, were transported," Shoigu said on Tuesday during a military-practical conference which summarized the experience of the military operation in Syria.
