MOSCOW. Feb 6 (Interfax-AVN) - Rostec will take part in the 2018 Singapore Airshow on February 6-11.
"The state corporation will present the newest civilian and military helicopters and the PD-14 engine designed for regional airlines and have a series of meetings with traditional partners and potential clients," Rostec's press service said in a statement seen by Interfax-AVN.
Rostec will be represented by its affiliates, the Russian Helicopters Holding and the United Engine Corporation (UEC), at the airshow.
The UEC will present the newest civilian turbo-fan engine, the PD-14, designed for Russia's MC-21-300 aircraft, to regional airlines.
"The Russian-French SaM146 engine, which powers the Sukhoi Superjet 100 [SSJ100] plane, has great potential in Southeast Asia. The engine, which is assembled at the UEC-Saturn plant in Russia, has been successfully used in the region by SSJ100 planes of the Thai Royal Air Force," Rostec said.
Exhibitors and visitors will see models of the Mil Mi-171A2 search-and-rescue helicopter, the Ansat light multirole helicopter, and the Kamov Ka-52 Alligator reconnaissance-and-strike helicopter at the Russian Helicopters stand.
