DONETSK. Feb 15 (Interfax) - The number of local residents killed in the self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) declined nine times in 2017 against 2014, a spokesman of the DPR human rights ombudsman Darya Morozova's office told reporters.
"The number of local residents killed in the Donetsk People's Republic fell nine times in 2017 against 2014. The reason for this dynamics is signing the Package of Measures to implement the Minsk Agreements," the spokesman said.
Some 278 people were killed on the DPR's side in 2017, 348 in 2016, 1,395 in 2015 and 2,546 in 2014 in hostilities, he said.
