U.S. sanction pressure in N. Korea doesn't comply with principles of partnership between UN Security Council members - Russian diplomat

MOSCOW. Feb 26 (Interfax) - Moscow sees the U.S. decision to increase its unilateral sanction pressure on North Korea as behavior not complying with partnership principles, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov said.

"We cannot again and again replay a situation in which the U.S. steps up its unilateral sanction pressure immediately or shortly after countries cooperatively agree on something at the UN Security Council and make a relevant decision," Ryabkov told journalists on Monday.

"What kind of partnership can we talk about at all? This term is not applicable to this sort of behavior by Washington," he said.
