Putin demands that corruption be suppressed while implementing state armament program

MOSCOW. March 5 (Interfax) - Russian President Vladimir Putin is demanding that any corruption crimes be curbed in efforts to implement large-scale projects and especially in efforts to fulfil a new state armament program.

"Our country is yet to implement large-scale, mainly unprecedented plans in social development, modernizing the infrastructure, and renovating cities and populated localities. We are working on accomplishing the recently adopted new state armament program and it is necessary to protect the resolution of all these tasks from the corruption threat," Putin said at the Federal Security Service board meeting.
