HMEIMIM. March 13 (Interfax-AVN) - Almost 80 civilians left Syria's Eastern Ghouta via a humanitarian passage on Monday, the Russian Defense Ministry said.
"Today 17 families numbering 76 people, among them 49 children, were transported via the humanitarian corridor today. These people were sent to a temporary accommodation center in the populated locality of Edduer," Maj. Gen. Yury Yevtushenko, head of the Russian center for reconciliation of the opposing sides in Syria, said on Monday evening.
