Peskov refers question about Russia's recognition of possible OPCW probe into Skripal case to diplomats

MOSCOW. March 15 (Interfax) - Russian presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov has referred a question about whether Moscow would recognize the outcome of a possible probe into the Salisbury incident by the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) to the Russian Foreign Ministry.

"I cannot tell you. This is probably a question for our specialists, diplomats, who deal with such matters," Peskov told reporters on Thursday.

"True, there is a series of mandatory actions required by relevant conventions in such cases," Peskov said.

"As you know, Russia is a member of those conventions," he said.
