Over 5,000 people leave Eastern Ghouta on Thursday, over 800 people leave via humanitarian corridor every hour - Gen. Zolotukhin

EASTERN GHOUTA. March 15 (Interfax) - Over 800 people leave Eastern Ghouta every hour on Thursday using the humanitarian corridor, Maj. Gen. Vladimir Zolotukhin, an official with the center for reconciliation of opposing sides, told reporters.

"More than 5,000 people have now left the populated areas of Hamuria, Sakba and Hazze using the humanitarian corridor. According to the estimation of the center for reconciliation of opposing sides in Syria, over 800 people leave Eastern Ghouta every hour," he said.
