Terrorist sleeper cell members detained in Kaluga region confessed to preparing terror attacks - FSB

MOSCOW. March 15 (Interfax) - Four members of a sleeper cell of the banned ISIL terrorist organization detained in the Kaluga Region on Wednesday confessed to preparing terror attacks, the Federal Security Service Public Relations Center told Interfax on Thursday.

"The detainees were convoyed to the city of Tyumen to undergo required investigative activity and search measures as part of a criminal case opened under Article 205.5 of the Russian Criminal Code. During the interrogation criminals confessed to membership in the banned organization, and preparations to terror attacks by them," the FSB Public Relations Center said in a statement.
