Talks on Geneva's mediation of Russia-Georgia relations held in Tbilisi - Georgian Foreign Ministry

TBILISI. March 15 (Interfax) - Geneva's mediation of Russian-Georgian relations was discussed at a meeting between Georgian First Deputy Foreign Minister David Zalkaliani, Swiss Ambassador to Georgia Lukas Beglinger, and Swiss Ambassador to Russia Yves Rossier, in Tbilisi, the Georgian Foreign Ministry's press service said on Wednesday.

Zalkaliani informed the Swiss diplomats about Georgia's foreign policy priorities and the situation in Abkhazia, South Ossetia, and the region as a whole, the press service said.

Switzerland has represented Georgia's interests in Russia since 2009. There is a Georgian desk at the Swiss Embassy in Moscow. There is a similar desk at the Swiss Embassy in Tbilisi representing the interests of Moscow.
