Three foreign sappers die after their vehicle hit mine in Karabakh (Part 2)

YEREVAN. March 29 (Interfax) - A vehicle of The HALO Trust, an international demining organization, has hit a mine in the unrecognized Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR).

The incident happened on Thursday morning, informed sources in the NKR told Interfax.

"Three people are dead and two are injured. Their identity and citizenship are being established," the source said.

According to publicly available information, The HALO Trust is a non-profit charity registered in the United Kingdom and the United States. Its mission is to neutralize mines and unexploded ordnance.
