MOSCOW. April 10 (Interfax) - The hospital, where Sergei and Yulia Skripal had received treatment, has never confirmed that they had symptoms of chemical poisoning; it is unclear that they gave their consent to the use of any treatment plan on them, the Russian Embassy in London said on Tuesday.
"A thorough analysis of the letter of [Dr. Stephen] Davies and a number of statements of [Salisbury District Hospital Medical Director Christine] Blanchard made on March 29, April 6, and April 10 shows that the hospital has never directly confirmed that Sergei and Yulia Skripal had any symptoms of chemical poisoning and that it was what they were treated for," the Russian Embassy in London said in a commentary posted on its website.
On Tuesday, "Blanchard only recounted the general symptoms and how they are usually being treated," the diplomatic mission said.
"At the same time, the British Foreign Office continues to assure us that Sergei and Yulia Skripal have been receiving high-quality medical assistance, once again without any specific details," it said.
