Russia not to curtail int'l cooperation in space exploration - Putin

MOSCOW. April 12 (Interfax) - Russia has no intention to curtail international cooperation in space exploration; all plans will be fulfilled, Russian President Vladimir Putin said while visiting the Space Pavilion at the all-Russia Exhibition Center on Thursday.

"We are not going to break anything or withdraw from those programs. We intend to carry them on to the end. We have partners in projects exploring the Moon and Mars: the United States, Canada, Japan, and the European Union," Putin said.

Russia has technologies, a wish, and growing financial capacities, Putin said. "We will implement all of those plans, they are interesting, and they are needed by the country and entire mankind," he said.
