MOSCOW. April 12 (Interfax) - The threat to use force against Syria in the wake of the suspected chemical incident in the community of Douma is a violation of the UN charter, Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova said.
"The threat of a tough response involving the use of force against Syria has been voiced at the top level by the presidents of the United States and France. I would like to note that the threat of using force against a United Nations member country in itself is a gross violation of this organization's Charter," Zakharova said at a news briefing on Thursday.
