MOSCOW. April 13 (Interfax) - Interested Russian agencies are doing their best to enable North Korean workers to continue their stay in Russia until the end of 2019, which is the deadline set by the UN Security Council's resolution, a source in the Russian Foreign Ministry told Interfax.
"There are about 20,000 North Korean workers left [in Russia]. We would like to keep this number and ensure their organized and phased departure from Russia," the source said, when asked whether Russia would allow North Korean workers to stay until the end of 2019, which was permitted by the UN Security Council's resolution.
