MOSCOW. April 19 (Interfax) - Viktoria Skripal has said she believes that her cousin Yulia staying in the United Kingdom was under pressure during the phone call when she said she did not want to meet with her.
"She called me. Our conversation lasted for one minute and 47 seconds. It was obvious to me that she was under pressure. She was saying what she was told to say. She was supposed to say that she did not want me to come to the UK and did not want to meet with me. This is the reason why I have been denied a visa," Viktoria Skripal said in a video posted on the Russian Investigative Committee's official channel on Youtube.
Viktoria Skripal said that another reason why she had been denied a visa was that Sergei Skripal was still in a coma. "The second reason is that Sergei Viktorovich is so far unable to make decisions and therefore does not want to see me," she said.
