NEW YORK (UN). April 14 (Interfax) - Moscow believes that London's statement that Russia was involved in the Skripal case could be an attempt to put pressure on the investigation, Russian Permanent Representative to the UN Vasily Nebenzya said.
"We ask the British side to clarify if the statements on Russia's alleged involvement in the Salisbury incident are an attempt to put political pressure on investigation. Or are these the final conclusions of the Scotland Yard investigation?" Nebenzya said at a session of the UN Security Council on the Skripal case.
"It is not a secret for anyone what information campaign, or even war, the British authorities unleashed against Russia over the 'Skripal case,'" he said.
