MOSCOW. April 24 (Interfax) - Russia hopes for signing a contract for the modernization of diesel electric submarines of the Indian Navy, United Shipbuilding Corporation president Alexei Rakhmanov said.
"The Indians want to modernize a series of their diesel electric submarines. Our key design bureau, Rubin, has every technical solution for this. We will not just work in this director, we will hoop that we will be able to prove that we offer the most advanced technologies, and we offer to develop some of them together with our Indian partners," Rakhmanov said on the air of the Ekho Moskvy radio station on Monday night.
