LUHANSK. April 24 (Interfax) - Ukrainian troops attacked the self-proclaimed Luhansk People's Republic (LPR) four times on Tuesday, LPR militia spokesman Andrei Marochko said.
"The situation on the line of military contact is worsening [...] As of 4 p.m., four Ukrainian attacks had already been recorded," Marochko told reporters on Tuesday.
The Ukrainians fired 120mm mortars, infantry fighting vehicle weapons, and small arms, he said. They targeted the militia's positions near Lohvynove, Kalynivka, Nizhne Lozove, and an area near the Prince Igor monument in Stanytsia Luhanska, Marochko said.
"Right now, the attacks are continuing," he said.
