HMEIMIM. April 26 (Interfax) - Five Syrian were killed and 24 were injured in an attack that militants launched on residential areas in southern Damascus on April 24, chief of the Russian reconciliation center of opposing sides in Syria Maj. Gen. Yury Yevtushenko said.
"Members of illegal armed groups launched a mortar attack on the residential areas of Nahr Aisha, Al Midan and Qadem in southern Damascus from the Mukhyyam al Yarmouk neighborhood," Yevtushenko said.
