Leaders of two Koreas agree to end state of war - Moon Jae-in

TOKYO. April 27 (Interfax) - South Korea and North Korea have agreed they will no longer be in a state of war, South Korean President Moon Jae-in said at a press conference he shared with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un.

"There will be no more war on the Korean Peninsula," Moon said.

Moon and Kim said in a joint statement they vowed to the 80-million-strong nation and the entire world there would no longer be war on the Korean Peninsula and a new era of peace would begin, Yonhap news agency said.
