Seoul-Pyongyang agreements may lead to breakthrough on Korean Peninsula - MP Kosachyov

MOSCOW. April 27 (Interfax) - The agreements reached by Seoul and Pyongyang are promising and may lead to a breakthrough on the Korean Peninsula, Federation Council Foreign Affairs Committee Chairman Konstantin Kosachyov told Interfax on Friday after the intra-Korean summit.

"This is very positive, long-awaited, and promising news. And it may become the prologue to a breakthrough," Kosachyov said.

A lot has yet to be done to implement those agreements, he said.
