ST. PETERSBURG. April 27 (Interfax) - The positive outcome of the Friday negotiations between the North and South Korean leaders becomes irreversible, State Duma Foreign Affairs Committee Chairman Leonid Slutsky told Interfax.
"I believe these are the pivotal negotiations people on both sides of the 38th parallel have been waiting for over the past decade. I am sure that the positive results cannot be reversed," Slutsky said.
The visit of Moon Jae-in to Pyongyang "will be another keynote event," he said.
"I am confident that inter-Korean negotiations will be high on the agenda of negotiations he will have with Russian President Vladimir Putin during the visit to Moscow in June," Slutsky said.
