MOSCOW. April 28 (Interfax-AVN) - Tupolev is completing the creation of a long-range bomber, a profoundly modernized model of the Tupolev Tu-22M3M, and is preparing the aircraft for the maiden flight, Tupolev General Director Alexander Konyukhov told Interfax on Saturday.
"The first profoundly modernized Tu-22M3M has practically been assembled; it is being prepared for the inaugural flight scheduled to take place in the third quarter of 2018," Konyukhov said.
