MOSCOW. April 28 (Interfax) - Russia will support the aspiration of two Koreas to disarm and denuclearize the peninsula, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Igor Morgulov told Interfax.
He noted the significance of the agreements reached at the inter-Korean summit, which aimed at reducing military tensions on the Korean Peninsula, such as the mutual commitment to stop the exchange of hostile actions.
"The reiterated wish of Pyongyang and Seoul to achieve phased disarmament and denuclearization of the peninsula, as well as their call on the international community for helping attain this goal have a special meaning. No doubt this deserves praise and our support," Morgulov said.
