YEREVAN. May 8 (Interfax) - Armenia will continue to be a member of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU), sole candidate for prime minister Nikol Pashinyan said.
"I declare that Armenia will continue to remain an EAEU member. Allied relations with Russia should be based on friendship, equality, and mutual willingness to solve problems," Pashinyan said at the Armenian parliament, which will vote on his candidacy for prime minister today.
"We see military cooperation with Russia as the main factor guaranteeing Armenia's security," Pashinyan said.
Armenia will also actively develop cooperation with the United States, the European Union, Iran, Georgia, China, and India, he said.
