MOSCOW. May 8 (Interfax) - Lawyers for Telegram have appealed the ruling of the Russian Supreme Court dismissing Telegram's request that the Federal Security Service (FSB)'s order demanding the provision of encryption keys for reading user messages be declared unlawful.
"An appeal was lodged with the Appeals Chamber of the Russian Supreme Court. Representatives of Telegram asked that the Russian Supreme Court's ruling of March 20 be overturned," Pavel Chikov, the head of the international human rights organization Agora, which represents Telegram in court, wrote on his Telegram channel.
