MOSCOW. May 17 (Interfax-AVN) - The Russian Defense Ministry has dismissed as unproven the findings published by the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) suggesting that the poisonous agent chlorine was used in the Syrian governorate of Idlib on February 4.
"The OPCW report published on May 15 that contains conclusions made by the experts of the Fact Finding Mission on the 'chemical attack' that allegedly took place in the populated locality of Saraqib in the province of Idlib on February 4 is perplexing," the Russian defense ministry said in a statement.
