Other countries might think about nuke programs following U.S. pullout from Iran deal - Bogdanov

MOSCOW. May 24 (Interfax) - The United States' unilateral withdrawal from the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) on the Iranian nuclear program may prompt other countries to think about developing their own nuclear programs, including military ones, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister and Special Presidential Representative for the Middle East and Africa Mikhail Bogdanov said.

"When such deals are undermined, this is a very bad sign for other parties that might start thinking about developing their own nuclear programs, possibly including some military aspects," Bogdanov told Interfax on Thursday.
