ST. PETERSBURG. May 25 (Interfax) - The next few months can be decisive for the Syrian settlement, French President Emmanuel Macron said.
"Dialogue with the regime [of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad] and democratic opposition forces together with contacts of the Astana group and 'small groups' will allow to achieve this goal [the Syrian settlement]. In any case the next few months will be decisive," Macron told a press conference after talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin in St. Petersburg on Thursday.
