MOSCOW. May 25 (Interfax-AVN) - Eleven models of planes and helicopters of the Russian Aerospace Forces are being modernized following combat use in Syria, Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu said.
"The modernization of 11 types of planes and helicopters is being conducted on the basis of the data received," Shoigu said at a meeting of the ministry's collegium.
The collection and analysis of information about the combat use of over 60 serial and advanced pieces of military equipment of the Russian Aerospace Forces in Syrian are underway, he said.
