Abe regrets cancellation of U.S.-N.Korea summit

ST. PETERSBURG. May 25 (Interfax) - Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe said he is disappointed at the cancellation of the United States-North Korea summit and hopes it will take place eventually.

"As for a summit between North Korea and the U.S., we should seek to hold such a meeting in the future," Abe said while taking questions during the plenary session of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum on Friday.
