ST. PETERSBURG. May 25 (Interfax) - Russian President Vladimir Putin said he shares U.S. President Donald Trump's concern about an arms race.
"Donald has voiced his concern about the possibility of a new arms race. I fully agree with him," Putin said while taking questions at the plenary session of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum on Friday.
Discussing the U.S.' decisions to cancel the summit with North Korea and withdraw from the Iran deal, Putin said the problems of the Korean Peninsula and Iran "do not bring us closer, but this is also a reason to discuss these matters."
