MOSCOW. June 1 (Interfax-AVN) - The Russian Baltic Fleet will be supplied with S-400 Triumf air defense missile systems, a ship carrying Kalibr missiles, Sukhoi Su-30SM planes, and Kamov Ka-27M helicopters in 2018, the fleet said in a statement seen by Interfax-AVN on Friday.
"The Baltic Fleet will keep receiving new weapon systems in the second half of this year: S-400 air defense systems will enhance the capacity of its air force and defense units, while the formation of missile ships will be joined by a fast attack craft of Project 22800 Uragan capable of carrying Kalibr cruise missiles," the statement said.
"There are also plans to deliver two hydrographic craft, and the fleet's aviation will procure new Sukhoi Su-30SM planes and Kamov Ka-27M helicopters," the statement said.
