MOSCOW. June 5 (Interfax) - Russian President Vladimir Putin plans to hold a separate meeting with South Korean President Moon Jae-in, who will visit Russia during the upcoming 2018 FIFA World Cup, the Kremlin said.
"The possibility of this meeting is being mulled," Russian presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov told Interfax.
According to reports from diplomatic sources, the South Korea president will visit Russia on June 21-23. For his part, a participant in Monday's meeting of the Russian State Duma's Council told Interfax earlier that Moon would address the chamber's plenary session on June 21.
Putin sent Moon an invitation to the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia at the beginning of this year. The South Korean president accepted the invitation.
