Moscow hopes Berlin meeting of Normandy FMs sets in motion Donbas settlement process

MOSCOW. June 6 (Interfax) - Moscow hopes that the Berlin meeting of the Normandy Four's foreign ministers will set in motion the Donbas political settlement process, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Grigory Karasin told reporters on Wednesday.

"We are hoping this meeting will help set in motion the political process, which was frozen through Kyiv's fault, and make progress in security issues," Karasin said.

"Two items will be high on the agenda: the disengagement of forces in Stanytsia Luhanska and the confirmation of the importance of the Steinmeier formula," he said.
