Soyuz spacecraft launched to ISS successfully reaches orbit - Roscosmos head Rogozin (Part 2)

BAIKONUR. June 6 (Interfax) - All systems of the Russian Soyuz spacecraft, which were launched from the Baikonur Cosmodrome to the International Space Station (ISS) earlier on Wednesday, are operating properly, Roscosmos chief Dmitry Rogozin told journalists.

"The spacecraft is in orbit, the panels have deployed. The crew is okay, and the expedition has started work," Rogozin said.

Rogozin said he had talked with NASA and European Space Agency (ESA) representatives prior to the launch.

"We have had very productive negotiations with our American partners from NASA, and there was a long conversation with our partners from the European Space Agency yesterday. We have far-reaching plans and have agreed to act together," he said.
