MOSCOW. June 18 (Interfax) - Russian President Vladimir Putin has appointed Mikhail Kamynin, who had previously served as Russian ambassador to Cuba and the Bahamas, ambassador to Portugal.
"Kamynin Mikhail Leonidovich shall be appointed Russian ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary to the Portuguese Republic," a presidential decree published on the web portal of legal information said.
The Russian president signed another decree dismissing Kamynin as Russian ambassador to Cuba, with concurrent accreditation to the Bahamas.
In addition, Putin signed a decree appointing Andrei Guskov ambassador to Cuba and another decree dismissing him as Russian ambassador to Peru.
According to a relevant decree signed by the Russian president, Igor Romanchenko was appointed Russian ambassador to Peru.
