MOSCOW. June 18 (Interfax) - The journalist Kirill Vyshinsky, currently held in custody in Kherson, Ukraine, has not complained about his jail conditions, the Ukrainian parliament's human rights commissioner Liudmyla Denisova said.
"I personally was in Kirill Vyshinsky's cell, he is in a cell where five people [are being held] in normal conditions, in accordance with all relevant standards. The cell has a shower with round-the-clock hot water. He did not complain," Denisova said after meeting with her Russian counterpart Tatyana Moskalkova.
"Of course, he wants to meet, among others, the human rights commissioner in the Russian Federation," Denisova said.
For her part, Moskalkova said that visiting Vyshinsky was her priority. "We are discussing a specific date," she said.
