Putin reappoints Patrushev Russian Security Council secretary (Part 2)

MOSCOW. June 22 (Interfax) - Russian President Vladimir Putin has signed an executive order on the Russian Security Council secretary, the presidential press service said.

"To appoint Nikolai Platonovich Patrushev Russian Security Council Secretary," the order said.

In addition, Putin signed an order to appoint the first deputy secretary and deputy secretaries of the Russian Security Council.

Yury Averyanov was appointed Russian Security Council First Deputy Secretary. Sergei Vakhrukov, Alexander Grebenkin, Rashid Nurgaliyev, Mikhail Popov, and Oleg Khramov became deputy secretaries.

The orders take effect on the day of its signing, the document said.
