MOSCOW. June 27 (Interfax) - The issue of interfering in the United States election was briefly mentioned at a meeting between Vladimir Putin and U.S. President's National Security Advisor John Bolton, with the Russian leader denying any involvement of his country, his aide Yury Ushakov said.
"Yes, this topic was mentioned, very briefly. Our side stated clearly that the Russian state does not interfere with [electoral] processes in the U.S., never did, including in the 2016 election," Ushakov told reporters after Putin's meeting with Bolton.
He reiterated that the topic was raised but only very briefly at the meeting.
