Self-proclaimed LPR says ready to observe truce in Donbas from July 1

LUHANSK. June 28 (Interfax) - The self-proclaimed Luhansk People's Republic's militia has promised to observe the truce, to introduce which along the contact line in Donbas the participants in the Trilateral Contact Group agreed from July 1.

"As before, we strictly abide by the Minsk agreements and are ready to facilitate the observance of ceasefire along the line of combat contact from July 1," the LPR's defense agency told Interfax.

The LPR's militia said that they are hoping that the Ukrainian side will also respect the agreements and refrain from opening fire.
