SALEKHARD. June 28 (Interfax) - Russian Human Rights Commissioner Tatyana Moskalkova met with Ukrainian filmmaker Oleh Sentsov at his penal colony in Russia's Yamal-Nenets Autonomous District in the presence of security guards, and Sentsov thanked Moskalkova for the visit, Yamal-Nenets Human Rights Commissioner Anatoly Sak told Interfax.
"Tatyana Moskalkova talked to him one-on-one for about an hour, but, of course, in the presence of security guards," Sak said.
Sak said Sentsov told him after the meeting with Moskalkova that "Tatyana Nikolayeva is a wonderful woman" and he was glad to have met her.
"Many thanks to her and to you for not forgetting me," Sak quoted Sentsov as saying.
