MOSCOW. July 17 (Interfax) - Alexander Drymanov, former chief of the Russian Investigative Committee department for Moscow, has been detained in a case dealing with the acceptance of a bribe by high-ranking investigation officials, an informed source told Interfax.

"Alexander Drymanov has been detained in a case dealing with the acceptance of a bribe by high-ranking Investigative Committee officials in exchange for freeing Andrei Kochuikov (Italian), an associate of the criminal boss Zakhary Kalashov (Shakro the Young), from a detention facility and mitigating the charges brought against him," the source said.
