Ukraine, DPR trade ceasefire accusations

DONETSK/KYIV. July 30 (Interfax) - The Ukrainian Armed Forces have committed one ceasefire violation in the past 24 hours, a representative of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) at the Joint Center for Control and Coordination (JCCC) said.

"The Spartak populated locality was attacked by the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Civilian deaths and destruction of homes or infrastructure has not been registered at this point," he told reporters on Monday.

In turn, the press service of the headquarters of the Ukrainian Joint Forces Operation reported 30 ceasefire violations and the injury of one person in Donbas.

"The enemy opened fire on our positions 30 times. No weapons forbidden by the Minsk Agreements were used," the press service wrote on Facebook.

The enemy engaged in targeted fire using grenade launchers, large-caliber machine guns, and firearms in Krymske, Yuzhne, Novhorodske, Opytne, Avdiyivka, Maryinka, Novomykhailivka, Novoselivka, Lebedynske, Hnutove, Shyrokyne, Pavlopil, and Vodyane, according to the press service.

According to Ukrainian intelligence, two militiamen were injured.

The enemy fired at Ukrainian positions in Krymske, Maiske, Svitlodarsk, Opytne, Maryinka and Pavlopil eight times, the press service said.

The "bread truce" took effect on midnight on July 1 under an agreement reached by the Trilateral Contact Group on Ukraine in Minsk.
