YAROSLAVL. Aug 8 (Interfax) - Yelena Skripal would like to visit the United Kingdom, according to her granddaughter Viktoria.
"We are planning to apply for the grandma's visa, so that she could see her kin. This is a rather complex procedure, including from the technical point of view. I would like to accompany her but my applications for visiting the UK have been denied several times and I am not sure my request will be granted this time," Viktoria Skripal told Interfax on Tuesday.
She added she had no contact with Yulia, the daughter of former GRU employee Sergei Skripal, other than when Yulia called her.
"I do not know their phone numbers, so we speak only when Yulia calls us," Viktoria Skripal said.
