MOSCOW. Aug 13 (Interfax) - The Kremlin cannot currently provide any information about the situation surrounding convicted filmmaker Oleh Sentsov, who is continuing a hunger strike at a Russian penitentiary.
"So far I have nothing to say, apart from what has been said before. There's nothing to add," Kremlin press secretary Dmitry Peskov said on Monday when asked by journalists when the Russian president will voice his decision on Sentsov's future.
Journalists asked Peskov if anything new could be said following a statement the Elysee Palace made after the telephone conversation between Putin and French President Emmanuel Macron, according to which the Russian leader promised to respond to his French counterpart's request that the Sentsov situation be settled.
