Turkey won't back unilateral sanctions against Iran - Cavusoglu (Part 2)

ANKARA. Aug 14 (Interfax) - Turkey has never supported the sanctions imposed on Russia and will not back sanctions against Iran, Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu told reporters on Tuesday.

"We have never supported the sanctions against Russia. As far as sanctions against Iran are concerned, we have already said that we will not join in," he said.

"Some country introduces sanctions and instructs other countries to back their decisions - that world is no more. When you made decisions on sanctions, did you consult with us? Did you get our opinion about it?" the Turkish foreign minister said.

"If a decision is made unilaterally, we won't take part," he said.
